INSTALLING POWERBUILDER ON WINDOWS “SETUP IS RUNNING IN ANOTHER WINDOW”

Please try the below solution.
If the installation is hanging follow the below steps.

1. open the task manager
2. Select Performance Option (4th tab)
3. Click on resource monitor
4. in resource monitor screen, you will be able to see two setup.exe
5. select both setup.exe by clicking on the check box available. This will move the given process to top.
6. right click on the setup.exe and select option “Analyze wait chain”
7. Check if “wssm.exe” dependency is there.
8. If “wssm.exe” dependence is there, select only “wssm.exe” by clicking on the check box {It might be auto checked also}.
9. Click on “end process” to end “wssm.exe” process.
10. The setup will work now by populating the next screens
